GKN Walterscheid is one of the world's leading suppliers of agricultural drive shaft and attachment systems. The company celebrated its 100th anniversary together with over 300 employees in September 2019 with a large-scale event at the RHEIN SIEG FORUM.

Aachen-based regio iT GmbH and the Siegburg-based civitec special-purpose-association for municipal information processing merged on Jan. 1, 2020. At the kick-off event on Jan. 17, 2020, management and the works council welcomed nearly 400 colleagues from the company's headquarters in Aachen, its branches in Gütersloh and Siegburg, and its sites in Solingen, Gummersbach and Hennef. To encourage people to get to know each other, the company, in cooperation with the Rhein-Sieg-Halle event team and Tourist Information, selected 20 "actions in motion" in Siegburg and the surrounding area. In each case, 20 employees of regio iT got to know both their team and the city of Siegburg a little better. "In the end, everyone agreed - also thanks to the rich culinary offer and the perfect service - that this was a successful event! As a customer, we experienced a dedicated event team - very creative, very conscientious. In memory remains the saying we have heard with all requirements and special requests: "We can do it!" Parents' Initiative for Children with Cancer St. Augustin e.V. celebrated its 30th anniversary in September 2019 with a large-scale benefit gala. "You supported us from day one, so it was clear to us that we would celebrate our benefit gala in the Rhein-Sieg-Halle. The cooperation was fantastic. No matter how often we called or visited you in the hall, you were always there for us. Answered our questions with patience and professionalism. On the day of the event, you handled our nervousness with calm and level-headedness. No matter who we asked for help, they always helped immediately and explained what could be done.
